Grave Desecrator is a Brazilian Black/Death Metal band from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 1998.

The band have released three full-length albums, one live album, two EPs, four splits through two labels from Europe (Ketzer rec. and Blood Harvest rec.) and one label from United States (Hell’s Headbangers). Their latest album called “Dust To Lust” was released in 2016 through Season Of Mist (France) one of the most important Metal labels in the world. 

Their raw and aggressive musical style spotlighted Grave Desecrator as one of the most  acclaimed names from the present´s Extreme Underground Metal scene in Brazil and South America too. 

The mood and artistic concept created and executed in their recorded music and live performance deals with Satanism, perdition, chaos and funerary sacrilege surrounded by the mundane and nasty atmosphere. They used to translate their artistic concept to stage through scenography resources.  

Grave Desecrator have visited about 50 cities in 15 countries being cast as part of important festivals like Live Evil I playing with Ghost, Angel Witch and Vulcano. There were many other festivals playing with bands like Deströyer 666, Archgoat, Black Witchery, Hirax, Sadistic Intent, Bölzer and many more bands on the road.

In 2018 the band started their 20th anniversary tour during the whole 2019. In 2020, due to the extreme pandemic situation, Grave Desecrator band was forced to postpone all dates of their 2020 Europe tour. There were more forced postpones to the USA and South America tour. 

By now they are planning and composing a new album and setting up a new tour for 2021 keeping most important festivals from 2020 last planned dates.
